HDR Definition by Wiki

In image processing, computer graphics, and photography, high dynamic range imaging (HDRI or just HDR) is a set of techniques that allow a greater dynamic range of luminances  between the lightest and darkest areas of an image than standard digital imaging techniques or photographic methods. This wider dynamic range allows HDR images to more accurately represent the wide range of intensity levels found in real scenes, ranging from direct sunlight to faint starlight.[1]

The two main sources of HDR imagery are computer renderings and merging of multiple photographs, which in turn are known as low dynamic range (LDR)[2] (also called standard dynamic range (SDR)[3]) photographs.

Tone mapping techniques, which reduce overall contrast to facilitate display of HDR images on devices with lower dynamic range, can be applied to produce images with preserved or exaggerated local contrast for artistic effect.

Wedding Photography tips for Beginer

Have you ever been ask to take wedding picture? By next week, I'll do my first wedding photography for my friend and of course it's for free. I think it is a good opportunity for me to gain experience in this area. So, i realize that I'm a beginner in this photography things, and what should i do is -> RESEARCH.. Just ask uncle Google and he will tell everything that u/we need to know.

i had read some website that explain about the wedding photography for beginner. 1st website is Basic Digital Photography and Digital Photography School.

I can summarize some important tips that should be considered while doing the wedding photography. Firstly we should know that wedding photography is a one time ceremony and it's very important for the bride. So, we should not waste the time with error or bury picture that will make the bride upset. and here are few suggestion:-

Preparation
* The Gear - make sure all of your equipment are in good conditions. Prepare at least TWO camera with different lenses.
* Event Detail - Date, location, time and wedding tentative - it's good if know themes of the event, so that we can setup the camera setting early(newbie will take a lot of time to set up the camera)
* Create the shoot list - Need to research about compositions and framing the photo.

On The wedding day
* Be early
* Shoot candid photo
* Ignore what people say how you take the picture, just think how the result will be.
* Be respectful to others especially if the another photographer.
* Learn how to control situation and do panic
* Consider anythings
* Remember not to discard your mistake
* Shoot in RAW
* Consider background
* Change Perspective
* Group Shoot and individual shoot will give you credit for the next job(maybe..)
* Find a good location

Clean Up
* Photo editing
* Burn into CD/DVD
* Printing
* Slideshow(Optional)

Extra Tips
* Use different mode
* Expect the unexpected
Last important tips is, HAVE FUN...:)

then, we just wait my result for this event..:)

Shoutmix

Yezza, added the chat function.. very easy to install, just register(fill in the form), then find the sentence, "get the code"..after the page appear, copy the code and paste to your html/javascript gadget(blogspot gadget)...

shoutmix page

My kick start

Here are my first shoot using canon 1000d with kit lenses..And for sure I'm doing mistake by using wrong exposure/wrong shutter speed and etc..:)... I hope u guys didn't do the same mistake..cheers

For the first picture, I'm using monochrome setup and cant remember the color i choose. The purpose of the picture is to learn the shutter speed. If I'm using slower shutter, the water will be blurred. For the picture above, I'm using 1/60 shutter speed and the result quiet OK..(for me)..

hmmm..i can't explain this picture with the technical stuff since I'm new with the photography. but what I'm trying to do is get the night scenery. the real environment more brighter than this. so i can tell that my mistake is shutter speed too fast. and my big mistake is i didn't use tripod.
Tips from previous entry:
For night scenery
* Use tripod, self timer
* Use M -> manual mode
* set slower shutter speed ( depend on lightning) ..mybe 1/4, 1/3/ or 1/2

I'll try again later..:)

Lastly, macro picture. and i think need to learn about lightning. :)

This three picture that i think the best I've got so far..beside learning photography, I'm willing to learn writing and i u can see, my English very poor..:)..and feel free to comment or critics. i'll accept what ever it come. Thanks for visiting my blog..i'll come back with other entry later..adioshh!!

DSLR Tips: Night Photography - Video

Just found an interesting video about night photography. I can conclude that what we need : a tripod, self timer, and control the shutter speed(longer shutter speed will make the pict brighter). now enjoy the video..

Improving Yourself As A Purchasing Manager

In the automotive world, purchasing management is becoming an increasingly complex job. Purchasing management essentially deals with the corporate buying of all products used by a company, from office supplies to warehouses. As automotive companies expand and set up factories and warehouses on the international scene, purchasing managers have to work with other managers by phone or Internet to co-ordinate purchasing down to the smallest detail. After all, the automotive industry requires that close attention be paid to profit margins and budgets. As such, the purchasing manager position in the UK and around the world is becoming tougher for new professionals.

However, purchasing managers needs to realise that there are simple ways to improve their daily lives and exceed expectations. The key for any purchasing manager is not to lose the forest for the trees, or the company pens for the corporate budget. Purchasing managers who focus on every aspect of their job and improve on those aspects little by little will find themselves better able to handle the stresses of their job.

One way to improve as a purchasing manager is to take a few additional minutes each day to review industry and corporate news. Purchasing managers, like other management professionals in automotive firms, need to be aware of the direction of their company and the strength of the competition. By reviewing press releases, analysis, and news, purchasing managers are better informed on how their decisions will influence the firm.

Purchasing managers should also schedule a short meeting daily with their buyers and other professionals. While purchasing professionals have plenty of meetings with outside vendors and others within the firm, an informal stand up meeting can create a better sense of teamwork. As well, these informal sessions can keep everyone updated on what the office is doing as a whole to improve the corporate lifestyle of their employer.

Finally, purchasing managers in the automotive field need to be able to speak in different manners with diverse groups. A manager may have a meeting with shareholders in the morning, a lunch meeting with a vendor, and an afternoon meeting with company executives. All three groups require a different approach and a purchasing manager needs to learn these approaches in order to succeed. The best advice that can be given to a purchasing manager is to listen carefully to what different groups have to say and research their needs prior to meetings. By demonstrating interest and concern for their needs, a purchasing manager can become more successful and make their firm more successful as a result.
